The Days Continue to fly by.

So many changes in the past few days.   Our weather is beyond amazing with cloudless blue skies, higher than usual temperatures and long hazy days.  The sun is not setting now until after 20h00, which means more patio/terrace time.

I enjoyed a lovely long bike ride from home to Fuzeta then along the Ria Formosa over as far as Pinheiro as well as a nostalgic visit to our Little Beach, a place more or less hidden from the average person as it’s on the opposite side of the harbour from Fuzeta and only accessible down a very bumpy, infrequently used road.

That evening we had Carole and Andre coming for a lamb dinner, compliments of Patricia Kean.

What a great evening it was.  We were quite stuffed and tired by the end of the night but happy as pigs in mud!!!

Sunday was market day in Estoi.

Sunday evening I surprised Marc with an early birthday dinner at Ana’s in Estoi.  I wanted to to this prior to our friends returning to Canada, leaving Tuesday, and Ana and Simone were kind enough to offer up their place for Sunday evening.  What fun and what a great meal…………..

A great night and fun had by all.  It ended with the arrival of Celine and Carlo from Ottawa……….happy and excited to be on Portugal soil…way to dark for me to take a photo but you’ll meet them next time!

  1. Great blog today! The lamb dinner looked so good. Gorgeous strawberries. What a great birthday surprise for Marc with all of you. Great photos but no meal pics.
