It is so hot out there this morning the the simple act of eating one’s breakfast warrants a change of damp underwear!!!!!! It’s breezeless, which here means that 21 degrees can feel like 26 degrees!! I can’t even imagine what summer must be like.
The days are starting to meld and in order to know what I did on any given day, I have to go back and look at my photographs. Thank goodness I am organized in that department.
With Pat and Gary heading into their last couple of days prior to heading off to England. And with Céline and Carlo just arriving…….everybody is heading off to do their own things and we are congregating around evening meals. Yesterday Pat and Gary headed off to Vila Real de Santo Antonio, Céline and Carlo to Olhao while Pat M, Marc and myself enjoyed a slow leisurely walk across the salt flats into Fuzeta where we enjoyed an amazing lengthy relaxing lunch on a patio beside the sea. Once done, I walked home and got the car then went back to collect them.
And of course there is always flora to taunt and tease us.
While walking home to get the car I discovered the workers were out on the salt flats……I was a distance away but I managed to get one snap.
And I managed to capture one of the azure magpies……it stayed still long enough for me to click
And last but not least…….we decided we finally found enough salt to pickle Pat!!
